1 So Abijah29 slept7901 with his fathers,1 and they buried6912 him in the city5892 of David:1732 and Asa609 his son1121 reigned4427 in his stead.8478 In his days3117 the land776 was quiet8252 ten6235 years.8141

1 И почил7901 Авия29 с отцами1 своими, и похоронили6912 его в городе5892 Давидовом.1732 И воцарился4427 Аса,609 сын1121 его, вместо него. Во дни3117 его покоилась8252 земля776 десять6235 лет.8141

2 And Asa609 did6213 that which was good2896 and right3477 in the eyes5869 of the LORD3068 his God:430

2 И делал6213 Аса609 доброе2896 и угодное3477 в очах5869 Господа3068 Бога430 своего:

3 For he took5493 away5493 the altars4196 of the strange5236 gods, and the high1116 places, and broke7665 down the images,4676 and cut1438 down the groves:842

3 и отверг5493 он жертвенники4196 богов чужих5236 и высоты,1116 и разбил7665 статуи,4676 и вырубил1438 посвященные дерева;842

4 And commanded559 Judah3063 to seek1875 the LORD3068 God430 of their fathers,1 and to do6213 the law8451 and the commandment.4687

4 и повелел559 Иудеям3063 взыскать1875 Господа3068 Бога430 отцов1 своих, и исполнять6213 закон8451 Его и заповеди;4687

5 Also he took5493 away5493 out of all3605 the cities5892 of Judah3063 the high1116 places and the images: and the kingdom4467 was quiet8252 before6440 him.

5 и отменил5493 он во всех городах5892 Иудиных3063 высоты1116 и статуи2553 солнца.2553 И спокойно8252 было8252 при3942 нем царство.4467

6 And he built1129 fenced4694 cities5892 in Judah:3063 for the land776 had rest,8252 and he had no369 war4421 in those428 years;8141 because3588 the LORD3068 had given him rest.5117
|
6 И построил1129 он укрепленные4694 города5892 в Иудее,3063 ибо спокойна8252 была8252 земля,776 и не было у него войны4421 в те годы,8141 так как Господь3068 дал5117 покой5117 ему.

7 Therefore he said559 to Judah,3063 Let us build1129 these428 cities,5892 and make about5437 them walls,2346 and towers,4026 gates,1817 and bars,1280 while the land776 is yet5750 before6440 us; because3588 we have sought1875 the LORD3068 our God,430 we have sought1875 him, and he has given us rest5117 on every5437 side.5439 So they built1129 and prospered.6743

7 И сказал559 он Иудеям:3063 построим1129 города5892 сии и обнесем5437 их стенами2346 с башнями,4026 с воротами1817 и запорами.1280 Земля776 еще наша, потому что мы взыскали1875 Господа3068 Бога430 нашего: мы взыскали1875 Его, — и Он дал5117 нам покой со5439 всех5439 сторон.5439 И стали1129 строить,1129 и имели6743 успех.6743

8 And Asa609 had1961 an army2428 of men that bore5375 targets6793 and spears,7420 out of Judah3063 three7969 hundred3967 thousand;7239 505 and out of Benjamin,1144 that bore5375 shields4043 and drew1869 bows,7198 two hundred3967 and fourscore8084 thousand:7239 505 all3605 these428 were mighty1368 men of valor.2428

8 И было у Асы609 военной2428 силы:2428 вооруженных5375 щитом6793 и копьем7420 из колена Иудина3063 триста79693967 тысяч,505 и из колена Вениаминова1144 вооруженных5375 щитом4043 и стрелявших1869 из лука7198 двести3967 восемьдесят8084 тысяч,505 людей1368 храбрых.2428

9 And there came3318 out against413 them Zerah2226 the Ethiopian3569 with an host2428 of a thousand505 thousand,505 and three7969 hundred3967 chariots;4818 and came935 to Mareshah.4762

9 И вышел3318 на них Зарай2226 Ефиоплянин3569 с войском2428 в тысячу505 тысяч505 и с тремя7969 стами3967 колесниц4818 и дошел935 до Мареши.4762

10 Then Asa609 went3318 out against6440 him, and they set the battle4421 in array6186 in the valley1516 of Zephathah6859 at Mareshah.4762

10 И выступил3318 Аса609 против3942 него, и построились6186 к сражению4421 на долине1516 Цефата6859 у Мареши.4762

11 And Asa609 cried7121 to the LORD3068 his God,430 and said,559 LORD,3068 it is nothing369 with you to help,5826 whether996 with many,7227 or with them that have no369 power:3581 help5826 us, O LORD3068 our God;430 for we rest8172 on5921 you, and in your name8034 we go935 against5921 this2088 multitude.1995 O LORD,3068 you are our God;430 let no man582 prevail6113 against5973 you.

11 И воззвал7121 Аса609 к Господу3068 Богу430 своему, и сказал:559 Господи!3068 не в Твоей ли силе помочь5826 сильному7227 или бессильному?3581 помоги5826 же нам, Господи3068 Боже430 наш: ибо мы на Тебя уповаем8172 и во имя8034 Твое вышли935 мы против множества1995 сего. Господи!3068 Ты Бог430 наш: да не превозможет6113 Тебя человек.582

12 So the LORD3068 smote5062 the Ethiopians3569 before6440 Asa,609 and before6440 Judah;3063 and the Ethiopians3569 fled.5127
|
12 И поразил5062 Господь3068 Ефиоплян3569 пред3942 лицем3942 Асы609 и пред3942 лицем3942 Иуды,3063 и побежали5127 Ефиопляне.3569

|
13 And Asa609 and the people5971 that were with him pursued7291 them to Gerar:1642 and the Ethiopians3569 were overthrown,5307 that they could not recover4241 themselves;1992 for they were destroyed7665 before6440 the LORD,3068 and before6440 his host;4264 and they carried5375 away very3966 much7235 spoil.7998

13 И преследовал7291 их Аса609 и народ,5971 бывший с ним, до Герара,1642 и пали5307 Ефиопляне,3569 так что у них никого не осталось в живых,4241 потому что они поражены7665 были7665 пред3942 Господом3068 и пред3942 воинством4264 Его. И набрали5375 добычи7998 великое3966 множество.7235

14 And they smote5221 all3605 the cities5892 round5439 about Gerar;1642 for the fear6343 of the LORD3068 came1961 on them: and they spoiled962 all3605 the cities;5892 for there was exceeding7235 much7235 spoil961 in them.

14 И разрушили5221 все города5892 вокруг5439 Герара,1642 потому что напал на них ужас6343 от Господа;3068 и разграбили962 все города5892 и вынесли из них весьма7227 много7227 добычи.961

15 They smote5221 also1571 the tents168 of cattle,929 and carried7617 away7617 sheep6629 and camels1581 in abundance,7230 and returned7725 to Jerusalem.3389

15 Также и пастушеские4735 шалаши168 разорили5221 и угнали7617 множество7230 стад6629 мелкого6629 скота6629 и верблюдов1581 и возвратились7725 в Иерусалим.3389
